There, you will find the Roaring Fork Valley's important elevations, bodies of water including lakes, rivers and reservoirs, as well as all of the ecosystems. Each of these different topics are color coordinated. All of the elevation pinpoints are in red, the lakes are colored brown, the rivers are black, and the reservoirs are white. As for the ecosystems, each individual life zone is a color. The Alpine life zone is light blue, Subalpine is yellow, Montane coniferous is green, Montane aspen is dark blue, Montane oak mt. shrubland is purple, and the Pinyon/juniper life zone is gray.
